Justice Ventures International (JVI) is a global human rights organization that secures freedom, justice and restoration for the poor and oppressed by strengthening ventures that promote justice. JVI is committed to eradicating modern-day slavery, empowering poor families living in slums, and ensuring justice for other vulnerable groups in India, China and Nepal.
JVI strengthens justice ventures in four ways:
- Securing justice for victims through legal case work;
- Empowering the oppressed through human rights training;
- Advancing systems change through advocacy; and
- Ensuring sustained freedom, justice, and restoration for the vulnerable by strengthening freedom businesses and other justice organizations
We believe that justice is sustainable only if it is embraced and led by individuals in the communities where injustices occur. We collaborate with local partners in the field by rescuing victims of sex-trafficking, bonded slavery, and other forms of forced labor. We identify and provide vital after-care services for survivors. We deliver high quality legal and related services in partnership with community-based organizations to support the victims and prosecute the traffickers.
